On 10 October, solidarity marathons will take place in 10 cities around the world in support of the abolition of the death penalty in Iran.
These cities are: London (UK), Paris(France) , Amsterdam (Netherlands), Cologne (Germany), Stockholm (Sweden), Oslo (Norway), Rome (Italy), Zurich (Switzerland), Luxembourg City (Luxembourg), Sydney (Australia).
Participants in these cities will show their solidarity not only by sponsoring this humanitarian initiative with a contribution of any amount they wish, but also by taking part in the run. Whether they complete the full 5 kilometres or run only as much as they can, every step is a meaningful expression of support for life and human rights.
If you cannot be present in one of these 10 cities, you can still be part of Run for Life. You can stand alongside the runners by sponsoring the marathon with any contribution you are able to make. Your sponsorship will help amplify our collective call for the abolition of the death penalty in Iran.
