January 3, 2026 — Freedom-loving Iranians held rallies across Paris, Amsterdam, Malmö, and Luxembourg to express solidarity with the nationwide protests in Iran that began on December 28, 2025. In these gatherings, participants braved freezing temperatures to echo the call of their compatriots inside Iran for a free and democratic republic.
Across all four cities, protesters carried pictures of the uprising’s martyrs and chanted slogans such as “Regime change in Iran by the people of Iran” and “No to the Shah! No to the Mullahs.”—rejecting both the former monarchy and the current theocracy. They urged the international community to stand with the people of Iran, not with any form of dictatorship, and to support their aspiration for a democratic, secular, and republican Iran.
