Luxembourg, July 12, 2025 – A rally in front of the city’s cathedral gathered Iranians who condemned the wave of executions and severe human rights abuses committed by Iran’s ruling regime. Protesters emphasized that neither foreign military intervention nor Western appeasement can solve the Iranian crisis. Their core message was clear: the only solution is the overthrow of the mullahs’ regime by the Iranian people.
Protesters urged the European Union to designate Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) as a terrorist organization, and pressed for the prosecution of the regime’s leaders for crimes against humanity. They also called for the immediate release of political prisoners in Iran.
Since the start of Iranian President Pezeshkian’s term nearly a year ago, the resistance reports that over 1,370 executions have taken place, highlighting the regime’s brutality.
Speakers at the rally, including Ali Fatemi, president of the Association of Young Iranians in Luxembourg.
