Sydney Exhibition Highlights Iran’s Human Rights Abuses

Sydney, Australia – On March 8, 2025, Iranians held an exhibition to mark International Women’s Day, highlighting the ongoing human rights violations in Iran. The exhibition not only condemned the Iranian regime’s systematic oppression of women but also called for an end to execution sentences and gender-based discrimination enforced by the ruling mullahs.
The event also served as a powerful show of solidarity with the ongoing Iranian Revolution, with a specific focus on the rising number of executions of political prisoners.

Attendees were confronted with the harsh reality of the regime’s brutality,  many of whom face unjust death sentences. Among them are Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani, both of whom are at risk of imminent execution.

The Iranian community in Sydney voiced their support for a democratic republic in Iran, firmly rejecting all forms of dictatorship, including the mullahs’ regime and any potential return to the Shah’s rule.

The group specifically called for the closure of the Iranian regime’s embassy in Australia and advocated for the blacklisting of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
