Gothenburg, Sweden – March 4, 2025: Iranians held a rally in solidarity with the No to Executions Tuesdays Campaign, marking the twenty-forth consecutive week of their solidarity movement. The campaign is a response to the Iranian regime’s continued executions in its prisons.
The twenty-forth week of the gathering in Gothenburg coincided with the 58th week of the No to Executions Tuesdays campaign. This week marked the 58th consecutive Tuesday of strikes by political prisoners in 38 prisons across the country, as they commemorated their unified struggle against state-led executions.
The protesters also called for the immediate release of all political prisoners and condemned the Iranian regime’s ongoing crimes against the Iranian people, expressing solidarity with the ongoing Iranian Revolution.
Rally participants in Gothenburg urged an end to Sweden’s policy of appeasement toward the Iranian regime and called for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to be designated as a terrorist organization.
Freedom-loving Iranians in Gothenburg reiterated the Iranian people’s desire for a democratic republic and their rejection of any form of dictatorship, whether under the mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s rule.
