Bern, Switzerland – January 16, 2025: The Iranian community in Switzerland organized a photo exhibition and book table to promote the 29th Free Iran Telethon for @en_simayazadi, scheduled to take place from January 17-19, 2025.
The event also drew attention to the ongoing human rights violations in Iran, with a focus on the country’s deteriorating situation and the plight of political prisoners facing death sentences.
Participants called for international recognition of the Iranian people’s resistance and their right to defend themselves against oppression and dictatorship.
Reaffirming their commitment to a democratic republic in Iran, the Iranian community in Bern strongly rejected all forms of dictatorship, whether the mullahs’ theocratic regime or a return to the Shah’s rule.
They further demanded the closure of the mullahs’ embassy in Switzerland and urged the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
