Bern, Switzerland — September 14, 2026: The Iranian community in Switzerland held a rally and photo exhibition in Bern to protest executions in Iran and raise awareness of political prisoners and protesters facing the death penalty.
The event marked the fourth anniversary of the September 2022 nationwide uprising and honored protesters who were killed during the unrest. The exhibition also highlighted political prisoners sentenced to death and expressed solidarity with the No to Execution campaign.
Participants called for international action against executions in Iran and reaffirmed their support for a secular and democratic republic. The event also promoted the message of “no to war, no to appeasement, yes to peace and freedom.”
