The Hague, Netherlands – July 5, 2025: Iranians held a rally to protest the Iranian regime’s escalating human rights abuses, focusing especially on the recent death sentences handed down to political prisoners. Participants expressed their unity against appeasement, firmly rejecting war and reaffirming their commitment to freedom.
Organizers urged the Dutch government to take decisive action, specifically to close the Iranian regime’s embassy in The Hague and to officially designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization. They also called on international bodies to hold the regime’s leaders accountable for crimes against humanity and to end their impunity on the global stage.
Beyond commemorating this historic legacy, the rally condemned the regime’s ongoing human rights violations, particularly the surge in death sentences against political prisoners. Participants demanded an immediate halt to executions and the release of all political detainees. They denounced the regime’s persistent repression and expressed unwavering support for the Iranian people’s struggle for democratic change.
