Paris Exhibition Condemns Rising Executions

Paris - France

Paris, France – November 21, 2024: The Iranian community in Paris held a powerful exhibition featuring photographs and books to show solidarity with the Iranian Revolution and denounce the regime’s increasing use of executions.

The event highlighted growing international concern over Iran’s reliance on the death penalty, often wielded as a tool against political dissidents and supporters of the MEK. Human rights defenders and members of the Iranian diaspora stressed the urgency of confronting these abuses.

Attendees had the opportunity to explore a collection of books and striking photographs that documented the history of Iran’s resistance movement. The displays shed light on commitment to a democratic, secular Iran, while paying tribute to the sacrifices made by the Iranian people in their enduring fight for freedom and human rights.

Speakers at the event called for Iran’s regime leaders to be prosecuted for crimes against humanity in international courts. They also urged the European Union to formally classify the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.

The exhibition drew significant attention from French citizens, many of whom expressed solidarity with the Iranian Revolution and shared their aspirations for a free and democratic Iran.
