Remarks by Dr. Riyadh Yaseen, Ambassador of Yemen in Paris, former Foreign Minister of Yemen, in a panel on the Iranian regime’s “IRGC and Meddling in the Region” in Paris, 29 June 2018, organized jointly by FEMO and APA.
Ambassador Riyadh Yaseen:
I convey the greetings of His Excellency President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi and the Yemeni people who are fighting the battle under his leadership, and support from our brothers in the coalition of countries against the Houthi militias, who are publicly backed by the mullahs’ regime in Iran.
We are confident and sure that the heroic people of Iranian, under the leadership of President Maryam Rajavi, will be victorious in the near future.
We have the will and uphold the principles of justice, lawfulness, peace, stability, compassion and development.
We assure you that we will work together to curb and stop the Iranian regime’s blatant and aggressive interference that has gone beyond all limits and that cannot be tolerated.
The reason for this war is the Iranian-backed Houthi militias, who kill many civilians and innocent people by explosives, mines and missiles that Iran sends to the Houthis and gives them unlimited financial and propaganda support. The regime that is wasting the money of the Iranian people and exacerbating the deterioration of the infrastructure and the humanitarian situation in my country since the coup of the militias and its control by force, violence, killing and intimidation. This is exactly the same as what happened in Iran 40 years ago when Khomeini and his group took over Tehran. Achievements of the terrorist regime has been spawning small terrorist organizations such as the Houthis, Hezbollah and others. The popular uprisings in Iran and our liberation of Hodeidah coincide, and this heralds the hope for victory.
Thank you very much. I pray to God to help you and support us, and call for your prayers and support for us in everywhere to achieve victory over these militias and the terrorist saboteurs. You are all appreciated and cherished by all Yemenis.
Thank you very much.
