Struan Stevenson: Mullahs’ regime is on its last legs, West needs to recognizing the opposition

Struan Stevenson, President of the European Iraqi Freedom Association, former President of the European Parliament’s Delegation for Relations with Iraq and Co Chair of Free Iran committee and author of the book “Self-Sacrifice, Life with the Mojahedin”, addressed the panel on “Developments in Iran and the Role of Opposition”, Paris, 8 July 2016.

Struan Stevenson in part said, “Mullahs’ regime is certainly on its last legs, it has over stretched itself financially and spreading terror in the region and the whole Middle East… The West needs to start recognizing the opposition that is ready and willing to take over from that evil regime and provide that country and millions of people who are looking for change in Iran with a proper working and functioning democracy, human rights, women’s rights, an end to death penalty, a judicial system that is free from political interference, no nuclear weapons, an end to torture and abuse …”
